kind of funny that i cant sleep - not funny at all actually. i feel ill in the stomach and lying awake at 1am on your bday is really not fun. its actually really sad because it makes you review in your the last 22 years - its achievements etc. the 'etc' being the most crucial part.

being awake while everyone else sleeps is really lonely too.

1. pretty stressed about foist drft. am working like crazy as well as making work for these shows. why cant i say no to shifts "sure, ill do em boss, cos im a twatface hoebag loser jerk" ..... or something like that.
2. so many grant applications to do which i know i should complete even tho im not going to wins. but i wanna wins. i wanna wins, wins, wins.
3.am so sick of work right now. if im not working, im at the studio, and if im not there im sleeping. THIS IS WHAT MY LIFE HAS BECOME. im so lame.
4. my mood goes from great to terrible. breathe tom, just breathe...
5. i want a reeces peanutbutter tshirt - im gonna get one off ebay...its pretty bright orange tho.
6. FLYING DUCK! i still havent done those plans for the childcare centre.
7. must ring dentist.
8. Must ring about my superannuation.
9. arg, am hating this list.
10. am loving polaroids even tho they arent turning out.
11. miss cofa.
12. what do i do next year? studio? study? what do i study? dip ed? art admin? musuem studies? mfa? nfi. at all
13. must clean room
14. put together images and text for website and 1st draft promo material. and pay bond. fuck thats in like 4 days.

• while the studio is fun, id really like a goal to work towards. its that time of the year where all the good art places have filled up for the year meaning i wont get to show my stuff (in a place i want) for at least another 12months. back to the drawing board
• carrying like 6 paintings about 2 and a half kilometres wouldnt be so bad if the folder they were in didnt have the dumbest handle on earth. by the time i got home, my hands were burning and reddish purple. not happy
• friday the 13th wasnt a good day for my family. to whoever putthis hex on my family - if i meet with you one day, i will destroy you.
• people who try too hard to be/act/appear "cool" are only kidding themselves. i mean, its sort of entertaining for me but when it comes down to it *lame*.
• i cant stop looking at images of baked goods
• thank gawd im working again and the payrate kicks ass.
• i love performing social experiments/tests on my family/friends. even if it makes me look like a highly strung baystud.
• i hope i win on monday. i need the money.
• i want a canon selphy pretty bad too. not bad for 299, but im sure i could get it cheaper if i just wait a bit.
• am loving salmon with cracked pepper, lime and ginger - supoib!

i wish i had a twin replica of myself, only so i had someone who completely understood me and listened to my problems without me being ashamed to speak them out or be ridiculed.

this is THE worst. im sitting here in my BATHROOM of all places, using this damn interweb because this location happens to be THE ONLY place my wireless internet signal works uninterupted. besides the strange looks i get from parents who look at me and then i hear mutter, "of all places, he has to go make another mess and take up the bathroom",  its extremely uncomfortable cos i have to place my laptop up high so my hands are in an uncomfortable reaching position as i type. DAMN YOU BATHROOM DESIGNER! WHY DID YOU NEVER CATER TO MY COMPUTER NEEDS 20 YEARS AGO AND MAKE THIS BENCH LOWER!


i got offered a free ticket to semi permanent tomorrow, but ive got my stupid volunteer work from 12-2.
i bet i look like a friggin 'tard in the paper tomorrow, hooray, something to laminate and show my grandkids, not.

in other news, having your own art studio is the bestest best best thing in the world

also, toby is doin ok (he is such a guts, he caught a RAT, not a mouse today)  without his best kitty friend crunchy who is now in kitty heaven. rest in peace crunchy mc cruch

also ill be in the sydney morning herald tomorrow bein totally dorky and quoted as sayin lame shite. oh well
should i work for below minimum wage for the experience to work with a "proper" artist?
